Sequence Sports Store
Fall 2012
Concept
Every sport is thought to have a unique sequence of movements that characterize it, but when those movements are frozen each has an elegantly similar flow. The concept for The
Sequence Sports Store symbolizes the beauty and elegance of sports and the wonders the human body can achieve when looked at from an artistic view of the athlete’s movements. To put this concept on full display, still-frames of
various sports were taken and integrated into the final design.
BONOBOS Pop-up Shop
Fall 2012
Concept
Two concepts that exemplify Bonobo’s product line and make it a premier men’s fashion
brand. This Bonobo’s pop-up shop, through the use of sharp angles and bright colors, brings to life the energy and passion associated with the Bonobos brand. The partially covered facade window and the use of angular lines in the floor plan seize the attention and curiosity of potential customers. The amazing fit of Bonobos’ pants make it a transcendant name in men’s fashion. The pop-up shop incorporates Bonobo’s reputable product in way not seen in traditional retail settings by making it the artistical centerpiece of the store.
Shoe Department
Fall 2012
Concept
The shoes displayed in Bloomingdale’s Shoe Department are unique masterpieces that combine artistic styling and architectural structure into each design. The space is a
museum for that art. With the use of black and white contrast, geometric forms, and strategically positioned lighting; the shoe is displayed in all its beauty. The individual works serve as the focal point of the shop as well as the customers’ artistic cognition.
Healthcare Design
Rheumatologist OfficeU
Spring 2012
Concept
The term rheumatology originates from the Greek word rheuma, meaning “that which flows as a river or stream,” and the suffix -logy, meaning “the study of.”
In a healthy body, everything flows and works efficiently as one. Fluidity of circulation patterns will enhance the reference to the flow of rivers and streams. Interior Design elements; pattern, color, lighting, line, shape, and form, will all be helpful in hinting at the characteristics of the flow of water.
